In the past 20+ years of operation Gilligan's Island has delivered a world class standard of service and evolved with the ever changing subject of inclusion and sports. Due to our mindsets, we are not only able to adapt to the changing needs of the world, but are also able to be open to the requests of individuals wishing pursue their challenges and dreams.
We have been called upon for adventures due to how we think along with our experience and skills. Yes, our team is made up of James Gilligan and his friends but most important of all...his clients, who bring their adventures. All of us work in unison based on professional cooperation, the magic of dreams to achieve a new reality together.
Owner of Gilligan's Isl, author of Inclusive Climbing Manual, James has spent 2o+ years working with individuals with impairments and disabilities, either though adventure sports or adaptive engineering.
He is joint co-founder of a national inclusion sports charity in NZ as well as technical advisor to MOD, Leeds Beckett University/Battle-back centre.
He is the man with knows a lot about a boats and things that float.
Chucky is owner and founder of "Good-to-go" paddle sport and equipment, adventure partner on water sports with gilligans isl. He has got more experience than we can fit in this box and and collaborator on many of our projects.
Lyndon is owner and founder of "Lakes Adventure", adventure partner for climbing sports with gilligans isl. After a career in the military he retrained gaining top qualification and skills in the outdoors. His wealth of experience from both worlds makes him an invaluable connection with many who ask of our services

During his career as an outdoor practitioner he has cultivated a interest in sports development and inclusive adventure sports.
